This 'Edinburgh Fringe - Spotlight On' series takes a look at the shows I will be reviewing at this year's festival and a 5-question Q&A with the creative teams.
Synopsis: An interactive mentalism show where the audience plays a central role, and no secret – or phone passcode – is safe.
The sold-out sensation comes to Edinburgh on the heels of multiple U.S. tours and NYC runs.
Part mind-reading, part storytelling, the show is ultimately a joyful celebration of the beauty we find in strangers when we slow down enough to see them.

Q&A with Max Davidson
Q: What can audiences expect when they come to see the show at edinburgh Fringe?
A: Interactive mentalism! Some people are afraid of interactive shows, but I promise, I’ll make each participant into a hero. If it wasn’t interactive, you might as well be at home on YouTube.
Q: Is the a particular theme, message, or idea behind the show that you hope audiences take away with them?
A: The show is about memory and the value of paying attention - to each other and ourselves. I hope people leave more attuned to the world around them.
Q: What has been the most exciting part of bringing this production to Edinburgh Fringe?
A: Probably the costs! Just kidding - it’s meeting other artists. Fringe is only as good as your community, and I’m thrilled that I have such a great group of people around me.
Q: If you could describe the show in three words, what would they be?
A: Guessing their password 😉
Q: Why should audiences add your show to their Edinburgh Fringe schedule this year?
A: Because when was the last time you saw a magic show and loved it? Never? A long time ago? Time to remedy THAT situation.
